You can also caulk around windows and doors to add an extra layer of protection from the elements.

It is a good idea to clean and inspect gutters and downspouts again to prepare for the winter. Check weatherstripping, replace furnace filters, and consider if your home has adequate insulation  to maintain steady temperatures another holiday season.
